Odo-Agamegi, Ogun State

Come and see the Maidstone farm.

This is the Odo-Agamegi farm behind Maidstone's standards, inspections, and live-catfish operating discipline. Every photograph on this site was taken on the farm.

The ponds

Stock is counted before sale.

Maidstone's home stock grows in earthen and tarpaulin ponds at Odo-Agamegi, in water we watch every day.

We confirm fish count, size, and timing before sale. That record is what your order is checked against, so the count we quote is the count you get.

The people

Watched, not just visited.

Two resident aquaculturists run the ponds day to day and live on the farm, so the fish are checked morning and evening, not on a schedule someone drives out for.

They walk every pond at first light, log its feed and water, and hold back feeding on any pond whose water is off until it clears. Both hold Aquaculture BSc degrees.
